The Great London Olympic Torch Relay Circus!

On April 6th 2008, the Bejing Summer Olympics torch landed in London, ready to brave the crazy Bristish weather and even more crazy and determined Anti-China Protesters. There were a lot of Anti-China protesters waiting in the ring to plunge in and disrupt the relay, their efforts varying from blocking the run by sleeping on the roads, to grabbing the torch from Konnie Huq(video below) and to the most bizzare one being pointing a fire extinguisher at the torch. Failing in each case ofcourse, but they largely succeeded in bringing to the world the brutal Chinese oppression in Tibet.

Close to 2,000 policemen and a million quids were spend to keep the torch burning throughout the journey. At one point, the flame was moved to a bus since the police couldn't keep up with more and more protesters. But the run was again continued on foot till it reached its destination the O2 arena.

China won't bog down with such protests.....it will just get the eye balls from around the world.....the olympics will still happen and the whole world will move one. The French did something similar.....lets see how much of drama will there when it finally makes it to India.
